Community Guidelines

Furryli.st is committed to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for furries. These guidelines outline what behavior is and is not allowed on our feed, applying to usernames, bios, profile images, and posts. The list and these guidelines are upheld by a group of volunteers doing their best to ensure swift and appropriate action.

As a general rule, we will be intolerant to intolerance and place a priority on protecting marginalised groups.

Joining the List

By following the @furryli.st account on BlueSky, you are applying to join the feeds. This application is sent to our Approval Queue, where a moderator will manually approve or deny it. Assuming no violations are found, the only requirement for an application approval is that you are a furry or adjacent to the furry community.

Rules

The following behaviors will result in punitive action (enforcement actions are detailed below).

Spam

Spam is any behavior that is repeated, unwanted, and unsolicited. This can include both manual and automated behavior.

For example, you may not:

• Post phishing links
• Exclusively repost giveaway posts
• Impersonate a well known figure or company

Hateful Conduct

Hateful Conduct includes any behavior that is, whether intentionally or not, hateful, intolerant, discriminatory, or violent towards others on the basis of protected characteristics, including:

• Race
• Religion
• Ethnicity
• Color
• Caste
• Sex
• Gender
• Gender Identity
• Sexual Orientation
• Disability, and
• Immigration Status

For example, you may not:

• Promote physical harm against others on the basis of a protected characteristic
• Use hateful imagery in your profile picture
• Express hatred or disgust towards a protected characteristic
• Deny the Holocaust or any other hate crimes

Harassment

Harassment describes the intentional action of attacking another person or group of people with malicious intent. Such actions harm people and the community, and will not be tolerated.

For example, you may not:

• Make real threats of violence towards another person
• Make unwanted sexual advances towards another person
• Encourage others to harass another person

Inappropriate Sexual Behavior

Pedophilia and zoophilia will not be tolerated on our feeds. We will disallow any activity that promotes sexual attraction towards real or fictional children or real animals in any way. Our definition of zoophilia excludes feral porn art.

For example, you may not:

• Identify as a “MAP”/”minor attracted person”
• Post cub porn
• Post erotica involving real or fictional children

To protect minors on our feeds, we also require appropriate labeling for adult content.

For example, you may not:

• Have a sexually explicit or nude profile image
• Post sexually explicit images without Adult Content content warning label

AI Generated Images

Artists are the backbone of the furry community, so in order to protect the integrity of these artists we do not allow usage of AI generated images (AI “art”).

For example, you may not:

• Identify as an “AI artist” and sell AI generated works
• Use AI generated images in profile images
• Post AI generated images

Other Malicious Behavior

There may be behaviors otherwise uncategorized that we will action. Those behaviors include the following:

• You are a new account attempting to circumvent a previous ban
• You are a repeat offender of art theft
• You are known to have been a problem on other platforms, given we have evidence of it

Enforcement

Depending on the violation, we will make use of an appropriate enforcement action, including:

• Removing an individual post from showing on the feeds
• Marking an individual post as NSFW
• Marking all of your past and future posts as NSFW
• Banning you entirely from the feeds. This means your will no longer show on the feeds
• Adding you to the furryli.st maintained mute/block list. This is reserved for accounts we believe pose a danger to the community

If you have multiple accounts, actions such as bans will take place across all of your accounts when appropriate.

Reporting and Feedback

While we do have an active volunteer team, there will be offenses that we miss. If you would like to report an account violating our guidelines, please join our Discord and submit a ticket. Additionally, if you have any other feedback about the feeds, you may submit a Discord ticket to share those thoughts as well.
